We're slowly progressing on the rock garden, I feel like a rock farmer, I have been out around the property, checking on rocks... to see if they have just the right look, almost like trying to see if a tomato is ripe, its got to be just right.
It still has a long way to go before being done, and who knows it may turn into one of those perpetual projects, forever evolving.
These photos below are the dragon pondspitter I found on ebay and some dragon plaques we'll figure out how to incorporate, tho the pondspitter has a spot, he's going to be spitting into the first 'pond'..
I am not a big fan of summer anymore, I do love the flowers tho, and my blue hydrangea just doesn't give up.
And I love day lillys.
And for the 4th, of course, grilling some steaks and bratwurst... and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies later... maybe with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, now that seems American to me...
